Scientists are convinced that they will be able to find the secret rooms hidden in the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. It is possible that one of these secret finds may be the tomb of Queen Nefertiti.
To study the tomb, scientists plan to use radars penetrating almost 10 m. At the end of the month, they will test the equipment, and they will move on to the study itself by the end of the year. This is the third study of the tomb in the last two years. For the first time, the idea of having hidden rooms in Tutankhamun’s tomb was voiced in 2015.
Then, when scanning the tomb, archaeologists found metal and organic objects between the walls – perhaps there is a secret room. Now the Egyptian authorities have given permission to conduct a full and final study of the tomb and the surrounding area.
